Aman is a senior consultant with a decade of experience helping organizations develop strategies for and implement data products. With education in engineering and physics, he has served as a business analyst, project lead, and data scientist for projects in a range of domains spanning energy, tech, and healthcare. He combines his technical knowledge with business experience to help teams tackle complex problems, seeking initiatives that have a positive social impact. A founding leader of the San Francisco chapter of DataKind, he has professional and pro-bono experience working alongside nonprofits and government. Aman is a leading advocate for conscientious and ethical applications of data, and challenges teams to develop processes and organizational structures that lead to both successful and sustainable outcomes. Aman serves in an advisory role for organizations including NIOT (anti-hate and community resilience) and the databranch (ocean conservation). He lives in Oakland, California.
